The Role
As a vital member of our start-up, your role as a Data Scientist is crucial in refining our hormonal health monitoring. You will enhance our algorithm by investigating peak biomarker correlations, establishing a baseline, and exploring ovulation patterns. Additionally, your expertise will be applied to analyzing perimenopause scan data, addressing questions, and contributing to a women's journey map. Your work also extends to developing personalized recommendations, empowering users with informed decisions based on accurate, personalized data.
What you will be doing:
- Investigate and further develop algorithm capabilities for identifying hormone patterns and symptoms.
- Develop strategies to establish a baseline in the first month and enhance the algorithm's learning capabilities over time.
- Analyze scan data to identify trends that facilitate effective interpretation of a woman’s cycle.
- Assign specific status indicators based on biomarker trends.
- Collaborate with the team to build data models based on women's hormone patterns.
- Leverage data insights to develop personalized recommendations for users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate recommendations into the user experience.
What you should have:
- Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
- Proven experience in algorithm development and enhancement.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with women's health and hormonal patterns is a plus.
- Excellent programming skills (Python, R, etc.) and experience with relevant tools and frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Looker and BigQuery would be highly advantageous.
